The Eternal Battle of Light versus Shadow-Will this Prophecy succeed?
Beware…Very few know this…and the few that do, will always deny to ensure the rest of us live a lie.
I want to get this out so people can decide for themselves, think for themselves.
In 4000BC, the human race almost got wiped out by an invasion of astronomical proportions. If it were not for an egnimatic leader of that time, a Queen in the land known as the Old World, life and freedom, that we somewhat take for granted today, would not exist. A heavy burden befell her and her sacrifice made it safe thereafter for human existance...Trouble is one can never say never, as 6000 years later, the evil is about to return. All part of a mysterious prophecy. This time though, are we really prepared to defend ourselves? Can we ensure humanity will live on? Are we knowledgeable enough? Are we ready... A small group has already gone further to protect us; the unaware innocents.
Experience the journey...
The Destination is only the beginning.

A very Intricate tale, absorbing and full of romance and twists
Odyssey Bourne Force was first released May 2007. General feedback I have received is positive.
I enjoyed reading a partial chapter during the first launch of the book in July 2007 at the GC writers Association. Though it was my first attempt at public speaking and I suffered from dry mouth syndrome, captivation was the name of the game.
This slice delved into the formation of the project Odyssey Bourne Force that began in 1958. An American father and son, living in Australia discovered a friendly alien creature whose race had been covertly watching humans, until this point in time.
This one incident opened the doorway up to a wonderous but equally dangerous future for humanity, and humanity's true beginnings...
I was delighted to hear that a lot of readers stated, after the first few chapters, which challengers the mind, the story becomes somewhat addictive and is a real page turner, right to the end.
Be aware it is instalment one, the tale will continue... and twists and turns will keep your imagination refreshed and the logical side challenged. You will share this unique journey through the eyes and minds of the players.
Well worth checking out a preview at http://www.debbierenner.com/
WATCH THIS SPACE-This title is being re-released by an American Pubisher and has more story added. So the original book is no longer in circulation (only the author has copies).

Behind the Force
One humid night in November 2005, I scribbled a brief outline of an alien world and a few characters that turned into a rather complex story. You should have seen the scraps of paper that got shoved in the rubbish. O.B.F actually started out as a personal two page fantasy essay intended for my eyes only… two pages…yeah right…
It turned into an obsession, like most passions. My brain was oiled and geared up and I couldn’t stop. I really couldn’t.
Poor hubbie used to moan at how long I was spending on that damn PC. I was surprised during those hot humid summer nights (my first in the land of Oz) that my PC, which was screaming its nuts out at me, didn’t lay down and die.
The original book (first attack) took three and a half months, everyday around my daily commitments to lay the bones out, ready for the meat. At first I thought what I was writing was going to be too self indulgent, too ‘heavy’ for anyone to appreciate. I even began second guessing myself. I certainly didn’t consider myself a writer in the popular concept. But O.B.F began like waking from a dream and trying to get it all down on paper.- very frustrating. I only wish my typing would get faster, without the dyslexia.
Once you read it, what would you class it as…action, mystery, science fiction, fantasy, adventure, a love story? Well, it has all those ingredients. Label it what you will, if you are into labels.
Perhaps one day my book would make it on the big screen (most authors dreams). The ultimate for me would be for a fantastic director like Peter Jackson (I remember him and his mate Terry Potter, who played guitar in the band Mad light and worked weekends on Pete’s brain dead movies. I briefly sang with the band but was too shy at 18 years old!) to read it and say. “Let’s make a movie.”
No one can predict the future…
